Jerome Optimist club invites you to join them on Wednesday, November 2 at the Jerome Senior Citizen Center convention room. The meeting starts at 6:30pm, they will discuss membership drive, committee reports and have a special presentation.

What's Happening in Jerome?
The Jerome Optimist Club had their first meeting for the year at the Jerome Senior Citizen Center. We discussed our goals for the club, worked on filling committee chairs, and had a fantastic BBQ with Jerome members and our very own Chris Stearns, LT. Governor for Zone 9, and her awesome husband, Orlan. We talked about how to help the kids in our community; we have a couple of fantastic projects throughout the year: Coats for Kids, Youth Appreciation, Breakfast with Santa, we sponsor an Easter Egg Hunt and Fishing Derby.
We would like to invite anyone in the Jerome Community that would like to help us help the kids in our community. You can do this by joining our club as either a Club Member or a Friend of Optimist member. You ask what is the difference?
Club Member
As Members of Optimist Clubs, individuals have the opportunity to "Bring Out the Best in Kids" along with other like-minded citizens. Through an Optimist Club, volunteers can answer the needs of local youth by organizing meaningful service projects. To pass the idea of becoming an Optimist along to someone you know, see the Membership Brochure.
Friend of Optimists
Individuals can show their support of Optimist International by becoming Friends of Optimists. A Friend of Optimists may be someone who does not have an Optimist Club in their area, or they may not have time to dedicate to a local Optimist Club. Optimist Clubs can also bestow a Friend of Optimists membership on a community member who has shown great support for the Club.
